The Gothenburg band Engel features an impressive all star line up including Niclas Engelin, Marcus Sunneson, Magnus Klavborn, Steve Drennan & Jimmy Olausson. They are currently on the road promoting their second album aptly named "Threnody" (a hymn, song or poem of mourning, performed in honor of the dead), but took some time out to support new clothing brand Born Dead and the values it stands for.
Engel's trademark intricate guitar riffage and melodic harmonies do not fail to impress on the recently released sophomore studio recording, the essence of the band this time captured by legendary producer Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studios (The Haunted, Ektomorf, Hatesphere, Born From Pain amongst others).
